Each of us has one of two things that never fail to fill us with joy. It can be a hobby, a person, a movie, or a pet, and just seeing it makes your heart relax and know that it is time to treat yourself.
I am sure that there are some people who get that joy by doing something extremely active, like going on a run or doing pilates, but I have to admit that when I do things for the pure joy of it, the more stationary I am the better. That is why I prefer cats over dogs because cats are perfectly fine with cuddling you in bed all day, but with dogs, you have to leave the house at least three times a day, and I am not about that.
Something that always fills me up with joy is, you guessed it, memes. The one thing that its entire purpose is to make everyone happy, and in my books, it never fails to do so.
